Today, I’m making a Paneer tikka sandwich. This paneer tikka sandwich is a straightforward recipe. You don’t need to make paneer tikka separately. There’s not much prep involved. We’ll use a simple sandwich bread, & make a simple filling & everything will be cooked in a pan itself. & the recipe is ready instantly. & usually, when we go to a coffee shop & the chicken tikka sandwich we get there, is very similar to that. Or even more delicious than that. This recipe is perfect for your kid’s lunch boxes for evening snacks. It is ready quickly & turns out delicious. It’s straightforward to grill it as well. you don’t need any griller-to aster. You can grill it in a skillet.

Ingredients Paneer tikka sandwich

  • 200g paneer (cottage cheese), cut into cubes
  • ·  1/2 cup yogurt
  • ·  1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ·  1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • ·  1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ·  1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • ·  1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • ·  1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  •     ½ tsp Black salt
  • ·  Salt to taste
  • 2 medium capsium (diced)
  • ·  4 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
  • ·  1 large onion (diced)
  • .chees slice
  • ·  2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • ·  1 tablespoon butter or oil for grilling

Instructions Paneer tikka sandwich

Prepare the Paneer Tikka

  1. In a bowl, add mustard oil, Kashmiri red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin powder, black salt, roasted kasuri methi powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, curd & salt to taste.
  2. Add the paneer coups shape and coat them well with the marinade.
  3. Cover and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes if possible).

Cook the paneer

  1. I’ve also diced a large onion, & I’ve chopped 2 medium capsicum.
  2. Now, heat a wok on tonight’s flame, now to add butter & oil, we’ve added oil to prevent the butter from burning. Once oil & butter are hot, add chopped onion, stir it & cook it for 1-2 minutes, then add diced capsicum. Cook the capsicum on a high flame for 1 minute. After that add the paneer and tandoori marinade and cook on high flame for 7-8 minutes. You can see that our filling is ready.
  3. Transfer it to a bowl & bring it to room temperature by cooling it down. I need a half quantity in a bowl. I’m adding 2-3 tbsp of mayonnaise and mixing it well.

Assemble the Sandwich
  1. Now, take 2 sandwich bread slices, then smear soft butter on them. Nicely butter both the bread slices.
  1. Once buttered, spread 2-3 spoons of this paneer tikka filling on the sandwich evenly. Here, I’m placing a cheese slice on top.
  1. After adding the cheese slice, place the other sandwich bread on top, and lightly press it so the sandwich comes together.
Grill the Sandwich
  1. Lightly butter the outside of the sandwich.
  2. Place the sandwich on the grill or in a pan, and grill until the bread is golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Serve
  1. Cut the sandwiches in half if you like.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy your paneer Tikka Grill Sandwich!
